Welcome to the homepage of Los Kiosk Bears, the greatest surf, blues and rock and/or roll band in all of Cambridgeshire, perhaps in all of East Anglia (ambitious aren’t we!).

We are specialists in vintage surf guitar instrumentals with a very modern feel.
To add variety we also include blues, rock and even acoustic numbers.

Los Kiosk Bears was formed in 2002 by Paul and Dave, neighbours who just needed a good reason to get out of the house. Being so far from the coast, Cambridge is an ideal location to form a surf band – no annoying distractions of sandy beaches, babes in bikinis, all night surfing, barbecues and those pacific rollers. And who wants to waste time waxing a surfboard when your Strat needs tuning!

Known by fans and friends as ‘the Kiosks’, we have played at local venues such as the Wrestlers pub in Newmarket Road, Cambridge Rugby Club, Cambridge HASH running club, the Kings Arms in Ely and many private events.

In 2006 we were joined by John 'Deaks' on bass, who threatened us until we let him join.

In August 2008 we were joined by drummer Ed who was advertising himself on a website for Russian brides.
